this is the first single of BASU

Dave & Kenny have been playing music with each other and in each others bands for over 25 years in NYC's vibrant music & out scene. Their first meeting was in Drew Gress's seminal band JAGGED SKY. They continued playing together in the downtown bar band THE WOLLESENS, LAN XANG, LENI STERN, UPPER PLANETS, the legendary DAVID BINNEY BAND and on tons of recording sessions and tons of gigs all over the world.

This winter Dave and Kenny recorded at Figure 8 Studios in Brooklyn.
No plan. Just play. Dave brought electric saxophones and effects and discovered and utilized the amazing synth collection in the Figure 8 basement and Kenny brought his latest home-made wollesonics, drum machines and electric vibes. Figure 8's crack engineer Micheal Coleman twisted knobs, recorded everything and played some too.
